Welcome to the unofficial Merseytram web site, where I hope to follow the progress of Liverpool's exciting new tram network through planning, construction and into operation.

This web site currently describes the original Merseytram scheme which was effectively abandoned in 2005. It is hoped that the project can be re-started in 2009.
